3. In the Format pop-up menu, select Mac OS Extended.
4. Click Initialize. You should then get the alert message shown in Figure 6.
5. Click Continue. Once your Mac finishes initializing the DrivePod, you should
see the drive mounted on your Desktop with whatever name you assigned.
Your DrivePod is now ready to use.
icon for the drive should appear on
your Mac's Desktop with the name
"Untitled".
It is recommended that you assign
the drive a unique name. To do this,
simply click on the icon but keep the
mouse button pressed for a second
or two and then release. The name
field under the icon should become
highlighted and you can type in a
new name.
If you DO receive the alert mes-
sage shown in Figure 5, you must
format the drive; proceed to step 2.
