Using the cursor buttons

Display the screen for inputting characters.

Use o p to set the cursor to the character you want
to change.

Use ui to change the character.
• The types of characters that can be input are as shown below.

• The input character type can be switched by pressing
while the display name is being changed.

Last function memory

This stores the settings as they were immediately before going into
the standby mode.
When the power is turned back on, the settings are restored to as
they were immediately before going into the standby mode.

Locking operation buttons on the unit

<SOURCE>
Press and hold
This locks all operation buttons on the main unit.
• All of the operation buttons on the unit turn off.
• If any of the buttons on the unit are pressed when the operation
buttons are locked, "Key Locked" is displayed.
To set the lock for individual buttons, see "Key Lock" (vpage 33).

Cancelling the operation button lock on the
[MODE]
unit
When the operation buttons are locked, press and hold
<SOURCE>
for more than 1 second.
The lock is cancelled for the operation buttons on the unit, and
operation for all of the buttons is enabled.

Restart

If for some reason the unit does not respond during use, or the power
cannot be switched ON/OFF, restart the unit.
Press and hold
<ON/STANDBY>
The unit automatically restarts.
• If the unit does not restart when the operation above is performed,
disconnect the power cord from the rear panel of the unit, re-connect
it and then switch the power on.
If operations still cannot be performed correctly, reset the
microprocessor.
• This unit can be used continually for up to 24 hours. Continuing
to use this unit for longer than 24 hours may result in operations
failing to function correctly. To continue use for longer than 24 hours,
restart the unit every 24 hours.

Resetting the microprocessor

Perform this procedure if the display is abnormal or if operations
cannot be performed.
When the microprocessor is reset, all the settings are reset to their
default values.

Pull the power cord out of the power outlet.
for at least 1 seconds.

Plug the power cord into a power outlet while pressing
<SOURCE>

When the power indicator lights green, release the
buttons.
"Initialized" appears in the display.
If "Initialized" does not display in step 3, start over from step 1.
for at least 5 seconds.
