5. Press VOL or VOL
shown in the Channel Name field.
If the can detect the channel you selected, the intensity and quality of the signal
are indicated by the dotted bars at the bottom of the window. A low intensity or quality
reading indicates that you are likely to experience difficulty receiving the channel.
6. Press OK to begin the search (or press EXIT to abandon the search).
The Channel Search window appears while the
specified. If the channel is found, the details are saved to memory and then the Installation
menu re-appears.
7. Press EXIT to return to TV viewing.
Method 2: specifying PID information
For this method, you will need to obtain PID information about the channel you want to add. This
information can be provided by the carrier or broadcaster.
1. Press MENU on the remote control. The Digital TV menu appears.
2. Press OK. The first item in the sub-menu—Channel Manager—is highlighted.
3. Press OK. The Channel Manager menu appears.
4. Press CH▼ or CH▲ until Edit Channels is highlighted and then press OK. The Edit Channels
window appears.
5. Press the red button on the remote control. The Add Channel window appears.
