Other Operations on the Main Screen

■ Capturing the still image from the live video
(Capture button 1)
The capture button displays the still image at the
moment of clicking the button in a separate window.
• While displaying the still image, the live video in
the main screen continues to be shown as a
moving picture.
• To print or save the still image, right-click on the
still image and click the desired command in the
context menu.
• To close the window displaying the still image,
click [Close].
■ Using the alarm output
(Alarm remote button 2)
When the ALARM OUT2 option is set to "REMOTE"
on the camera, you can operate the alarm output
remotely.
Clicking the alarm remote button initiates the alarm
output. After the duration specified in the setting on
the camera, the output stops automatically. While
the ALARM OUT 2 is being output, the alarm remote
button is displayed in red.

■ Changing the orientation of the camera
Clicking the video image changes the orientation of
the camera so that the point where you click moves
to the center of the image.
(Operation example)
The orientation of the camera is
changed so that the person that
you click moves to the center of the
image.
Note:
Depending on the tilt angle, the point where you
click may not move to the center of the image.
■ Zooming the video image with the mouse
You can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel on
the ActiveX screen.
Perform the following operations after clicking the
screen to activate it.
• Rotate the mouse wheel forward: To zoom out
• Rotate the mouse wheel backward: To zoom in
