4 PICTURE QUALITY
Specifies the video quality at five levels.
Note:
If [PRE/POST] is set at other than "0%/100%" on the
[IMAGE TRANSFER SETTINGS] screen, the values
of [RESOLUTION] and [PICTURE QUALITY] cannot
be changed.
5 Calling the preset positions
For the orientation of the camera
lens and the zoom and focusing
status, these buttons call the
-
preset position registered in "
Registering the preset position"
below.
When you call the preset number higher than 8,
select the number from the pull-down menu and
click the [GO] button.
6 Registering the preset position
You can register the current camera orientation
along with the zoom and focus settings as the preset
position.
To register the preset position, select the number to
be used for current setting from the pull-down menu
and click the [MEMORY] button.
7 DAY/NIGHT (only for the cameras with this
function)
Allows you to change the DAY/NIGHT switching
conditions configured using the camera menu.
Switches the video display
automatically between color and
AUTO
black-and-white depending on
daytime or nighttime brightness.
Always displays the color video
COLOR
image.
Always displays the
B/W
black-and-white video image.
8 AUX
These buttons are reserved for additional functions.
The function corresponding to the number selected
in the pull-down menu will be performed. The
function allocated to respective numbers depends
on the camera models.
9 [MAIN SETTINGS] button (See page 12)
Displays the menu buttons for an administrative user
("admin").

1 Viewing and saving still images (Capture
button)
The capture button displays the still image at the
moment of clicking the button in a separate window.
• While displaying the still image, the live video in
the main screen continues to be shown as a
moving picture.
• To save the still image, right-click on the still
image to be saved to display context menu and
select "Save As."
• To close the window displaying the still image,
click [Close].
2 Using the alarm output (Alarm remote
button)
When the ALARM OUT2 option is set to "REMOTE"
on the camera, you can operate the alarm output
remotely.
Clicking the alarm remote button initiates the alarm
output. After the duration specified in the setting on
the camera, the output stops automatically. While
the alarm is being output, the alarm remote button is
displayed in red.
3 Changing the orientation of the camera
lens
Clicking the image changes the orientation of the
camera lens so that the clicked point moves to the
middle of the screen.
Note:
The clicked point may not move to the middle of the
screen depending on the tilt angle.
