CLOCK SETTINGS
6 DAYLIGHT SAVING (ON/OFF)
According to the [TIME ZONE] setting, the date and
time settings of start (ON) and end (OFF) of the
daylight saving mode are automatically displayed in
the [WEEK], [MONTH] and [TIME] fields.
They can also be set manually.
7 CLOCK ADJUST
Can be used to adjust date and time automatically.
Automatic clock adjustment is not
OFF
used.
Retrieves the date and time
information from the NTP server
and adjusts the clock at the
following timing:
• When you turn the camera on
ON (NTP)
• The time you specified in the
[TIME TO SYNCHRONIZE]
preference (8) (Daily)
• When you change the settings
on the [CLOCK SETTINGS]
screen
When an admin user logs in, the
system retrieves date and time data
LOGIN (PC)
from the PC that is connected to
the camera and uses it for
automatic clock adjustment.
MEMO:
About the [CLOCK ADJUST] Settings
• For the camera connected to the Internet:
selecting "ON(NTP)" is recommended.
• For the camera not connected to the Internet:
select "LOGIN(PC)" or use the clock adjustment
function (24-hour interval) in the clock setting of
the supplied monitoring software
"VA-SW3050Lite".

8 NTP settings
Configuration of the NTP settings are possible only
when the [CLOCK ADJUST] preference is set to
"ON (NTP)".
• TIME TO SYNCHRONIZE
Specify the time for performing the automatic
clock adjustment.
• REFRESH MANUALLY
When you adjust date and time manually, click
the [REFRESH] button to make adjustment.
• NTP SERVER ADDRESS
Enter the domain name or IP address of the
NTP server used for retrieving the date and time
information.
• LOG
Displays the date and time for the automatic
clock adjustment last performed.
9 [SET] button
After completing the settings, click this button to
confirm the settings.
If you change the setting on the [TIME ZONE] or
[DAYLIGHT SAVING MODE (SUMMER TIME
MODE)] preference, the connection will be
automatically disconnected, and after about
30 seconds it will be established again.
F [CANCEL] button
To restore the original settings, click the [CANCEL]
button before clicking the [SET] button.
G [HELP]
Displays the [HELP] screen in a separate window.
