Closed defect summary
Attempting to save a zone configuration in a large fabric fails and the
following error is returned:Failed to save zone config...zon-
ing aborted...Bad zone config
An encryption event displays an unclear message: Wrong device
type: should be tape, found disk. This occurs when one
EE has a tape container and the other EE has a disk container, and
you attempt to use the Replace EE dialog, Replace function between
the two.
When resolving the FICON merge conflict for long-distance mode,
DCFM displays the failed to change message, even though the
change occurred.
You cannot move GbE ports to logical switches. An attempt returns an
inaccurate message.
When moving an entire slot port list to a logical switch, the following
obscure product event message is generated: Attempted to move
ports various on slot -1 to switch succeeded.
When enabling Virtual Fabrics on a switch that was previously dis-
covered using SNMPv1, users should receive a message instructing
them to use SNMPv3.
Immediately after enabling Virtual Fabrics, only the IP address is dis-
played. FID -1 should be displayed as well.
After canceling the Configuration wizard and restarting, the command
window appears in the background instead of the foreground.
The Cascaded FICON Merge Wizard Help page does not open.
If EFCM roles or group names exceed 128 characters, migrating to
DCFM fails.
The Add Zone Member dialog lists the option to add ports 0–766 in-
stead of 0–767 for the full 768 ports when two HP StorageWorks DC
SAN Directors are connected.
The chassis group Serial number, Status, and State are not updated
in the DCFM product list. This information is available through the CLI,
and should be displayed in DCFM.
No event is generated when an HP StorageWorks 2/140 M-EOS
Director is upgraded to firmware V9.9.2. DCFM continues to use HP
StorageWorks Edge Switch 2/24 as a seed switch. The user is not
prompted to use a seed switch-capable switch.
The DCFM server is not responding to the client.
Launching Port Admin from DCFM unnecessarily requests login creden-
tials.
No error message is displayed when a report generation fails due to
a disk read/write protection error.
