Lights Problem and Solution
Paper Out
No paper is loaded in
the printer.
The paper is not
loaded correctly.
Paper Jam
Paper has jammed in
the printer.

The black ink cartridge
is nearly empty.

Load paper in the sheet feeder;
-
then press the load/eject to turn

the paper out light off. The printer
resumes printing.
Remove and reload paper; then
-
press the load/eject to turn the
paper out light off. See " Loading
Paper" in Chapter 3 or Chapter 5.
Turn off the printer and gently pull
out all the jammed paper. If it tears
and pieces remain inside the printer,
open the printer cover and remove
the pieces of paper.
Obtain a replacement black ink
cartridge (S020108). See page xx for
details.
Replace the black ink cartridge with
a new one (S020108). See page xx
for details.
Obtain a replacement color ink
cartridge (S020089). See page xx for
details.
Replace the color ink cartridge with
a new one (S020089). See page xx
