6.0 Electrical Interface Specifications

6.1 Cabling

The maximum cable length from the host system to the drive plus circuit pattern length in the host system
shall not exceed 18 inches.

6.2 Interface Connector

The signal connector for AT Attachment is designed to mate with Dupont part number 69764-044 or equiv-
alent.
Figure 20 and Figure 18 show the connector location and physical pin location.

Note 1 : Pin position 20 is left blank for correct connector insertion.
Note 2 : Pin position 47 through 50 are used for drive address setting. (Refer to Figure 35 on page 53
