surface.
Always test the machine with scrap paper before punching the
final document.

wire element you are using.
Place one end of the element into the different profiles in turn to
find the appropriate profile. [Fig. 2]
3.

Selecting the Correct Wire Closure Size

Test the closure before binding the document. Always start with a
larger wire size setting than desired. e.g. for an 8mm wire turn the
size selector wheel until 11mm is shown in the top of the window.
Turn the size wheel to the left to open the mechanism.
Turn the size selector wheel to the right until the required setting
appears at the top of the window. e.g. 8mm. [Fig. 3]
Close the test wire and check the result.
If necessary, tighten the closure by turning the selector wheel to
the right. The adjusted size may appear in the bottom of the
window.
Close the test wire again. Repeat the process until the desired
result is achieved.
When punching PVC/PP covers, we recommend the cover be
punched with some paper either side.
Do not punch metallic objects such as staples or paper clips.
Empty the waste tray regularly.
To avoid risk of injury DO NOT put your fingers into the wire
binding channel.
4.
Inserting and Loading the Wire Element
The wire support feature allows you to collate documents on the
comb whilst punching more pages. Giving you a quicker binding
cycle.
Place the wire element open side up on the wire support feature.
