Warning Icon when No Object is
Detected
The system detects an object only when the gear
lever is in the reverse position (R).
•
If a rear camera image is displayed without placing
the gear lever in the reverse position (when you
call a rear camera image from the menu screen for
example), object detection is not active.
When object detection is not active, an icon
appears at the upper left of the screen.
Warning icon

Moving object verification icon

This icon displays when the system is determining
if an object nearby the vehicle is moving or
stationary. Warnings are delayed slightly while
this icon is being displayed.
•
The moving object verification icon may be displayed
even if vehicle speed increases.
