Maintenance and troubleshooting
Poor quality output
Most poor output problems are simple to diagnose and solve. The following
is a list of symptoms, along with a description of the problem and possible
solution(s). If you feel that your problem is not addressed by any of the
following tables or that the suggested solutions (e.g., replacing the toner
cartridge) may not solve your problem, contact GCC Technical Support.
Print is light or faded.
Reason
Moisture in paper.
Print density is incorrectly set.
Toner cartidge is low on toner.
Toner cartridge is damaged.
Toner spots randomly scattered over the page.
Reason
Paper does not meet specification.
Toner cartridge is damaged
Repeating marks evenly spaced on the page.
Reason
Paper path is dirty.
Toner cartridge is damaged.
Action to take
Load fresh, dry paper.
Adjust print density.
