This manual applies only to CBS-5000 Series brewers manufactured with solid state relays (SSR) in the heating
circuit. Earlier versions utilized mercury relays for heating. Refer to User's Guide # P004 for mercury relay
versions.
The first digit of the serial number can be used to identify the version of a particular unit:
