Primer
Pressing t he primer, m akingsureto coverthe venthole
whenpushing, f orces fuel directlyinto the engine's
carburetor t o aidincold-weather s tarting.
Remove t he gascapto addfuel.
Key
Thekeyisasafetydevice.It mustbefully insertedinorderfor the
engineto start. Remove t he keywhenthe snowthroweris not in
use.
NOTE: Donot turn the keyinan attempttostart the engine.
Doing somaycause it to break.
Auger
Whenengaged, t he augerrotationdrawssnowinto the augerhousingandthrows
it out the discharge chute.Rubber p addles on the augeralsoaidin propelling the
snowthrowerastheycomeincontactwiththe pavement.
