What GXi Outdoor Power Will Repair or Replace underWarranty
GXiwill repairor replace,at its option,anypart that is provento bedefective in material or workmanship undernormaluseduringthe applicablewarranty
time periodsubjectto the exclusionsstatedherein.This warrantyis void if the ownerfails to follow the prescribedmaintenance andoperatingprocedures
describedinthis manual. T his specificallyrefersto ensuringroutinelubricationandoil changesare made,that fuel stabilizeris usedwhen the productis stored
andthat the productis not overloaded.
GXihasthe rightto recoverwarrantyadministrationcostsfrom the owner if the root causeof the malfunctionis foundto be otherthandefectivematerialor
workmanship.In particular,this warrantydoesnot cover:contaminantsin the fuel or oil; damage causedby not following the prescribedwarningsandoperating
practices;failure to follow propermaintenance andstorageprocedures; a ndphysicaldamagedueto misuse,shipping,handlingor storage.
Warrantyrepairswill be madewithout chargefor parts andlaborfor the first year.
Anythingreplacedunderwarranty becomes the propertyof GXi.Partsreplacedunderwarrantywill be considered as part of the originalproductandanywarranty
on thosepartswill expirecoincidentwith the original productwarranty.

Youmusttake the STANLEY product,accessory, r eplacement p art, apparelor the power equipmenton which the accessory or replacement p art is installed,and
proofof purchase,at your expense, t o any STANLEY servicelocationinthe UnitedStates,who is authorizedto servicethat product,duringthe servicelocation's
normalbusinesshours.If you are unableto obtainwarrantyservice,or aredissatisfiedwith the warrantyserviceyou receive,take the following steps:First,
contactthe managerof the servicecenterinvolved;normallythis will resolvethe problem.However,if you shouldrequirefurther assistance,write or call the GXi
PartsandService,LLC.
Exclusions
Thiswarranty doesnot cover:normalwear, contaminantsin the fuel or oil; damageas a resultof use inan applicationfor which the productwasnot designed;
damagecausedby incorporationor useof unsuitableattachmentsor parts, unauthorized alteration,or othermisuseandneglector;damagecausedbyfailure to
follow the prescribedwarnings,operatingpractices,proper maintenance andstorageprocedures; p artsaffectedor damagedbyaccidentand/orcollision;damage
dueto shipping,handling,storageor any causesotherthan defectsinmaterial or workmanship of the product.

EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM INFORMATION
The U.S.and California Clean Air Acts
EPAand California regulations require all manufacturers to furnish written instructions describing the operation and maintenance of emission control systems. The following
instructions and procedures must be followed in orderto keep the emissions from your STANLEYengine within the emission standards. Maintenance, replacement, or repair
of the emission control devices and systemsmay be performed by any engine repair establishment or individual, using parts that are "certified" to EPAstandards.
The emission control systems onyour STANLEYengine were designed, built, and certified to conform with EPAregulations. We recommend the use of genuine STANLEY
parts whenever you have maintenance done. Theseoriginal-design replacement parts are manufactured to the same standards as the original parts, so you can be confident
of their performance. The use of replacement parts that are not of the original designand quality may impair the effectiveness of your emission control system. A manufac-
turer of an aftermarket part assumes the responsibility that the part will not adversely affect emission performance. The manufacturer or re-builder of the part must certify
that use of the part will not result in a failure of the engine to comply with emission regulations. Emissioncontrols are covered bythis warranty for all uses for a period of 2
