Setting Oven Controls
Seffing Cook Time
Use Cook Time to set the amount of time needed for
baking.
The oven will turn on immediately
and stop
automatically
after the set cook time ends.
FOOD POISONING
HAZARD.
Do not let
food sit for more than one hour before or after cooking.
Doing so can result in food
poisoning
or sickness. Foods that
can easily spoil such as mill<, eggs, fish, meat or poultry,
should be chilled in the refrigerator
first.
Even when chilled,
they should not stand in the oven for more than 1 hour
before
cooking
begins, and should be removed
promptly
when finished
cooking.
Always
use pot holders
or oven miffs when
using the oven.
When cooking,
the oven interior, oven
racks and cooktop
will become very hot which can cause
burns.
To program
the oven fo begin
baking
immediately
and fo
shut off aufomaflcally:
1. Be sure that the clock displays
the correct
time of day.

oven racks and close oven door.
Press Bake key pad.

in display.

Within
5 seconds, press A
or V
key pad. The
display
wiii show the default
oven temperature
of 350°F
(177°C).
By pressing
A
or V,
the temperature
may be adjusted
in 5°F increments (1°C if the control
is
set to display
Celsius).
Press Cook Time key pad.
:00 wiii appear
in display.
Press A
or V
and release when the desired
cool<
time appears
in the display.
The oven will
turn
ON
and
begin
heating.
When
the
oven
temperature
reaches
the set temperature,
the
PREHEAT
indicator
light will
turn off and
the oven
control
will
beep
3 times.
To cancel at anytime
press
STOP;.
When the cook flme runs out:
End will appear
in the display.
As a reminde D the oven
control
will beep 3 times and continue
every
minute after
until
STOP iS pressed.
To change
the oven temperature
or cook flme offer
baking
has started:
1. To change
press Bake (for oven temperature)
or Cook
Time key pad.
2. To adjust,
press A
or V
and release when the
desired setting
appears
in the display.
Important
notes:
° The maximum
Cool< Time or Delay Start setting is 11
hours & 59 minutes.
° Cook Time may be set with Bake or Convection
(on some
models). Cook Time or Delay Start wiil not operate
with
Broil active.
While
baking
with Cook Time, press the Cook Time key
pad to display
any cook time remaining.
Dark or dull pans absorb
more heat than shiny bakeware
resulting
in dark or overbrowning
of foods. It may be
necessary
to reduce the oven temperature
or cool< time to
prevent overbrowning
of some foods. Dark pans are
recommended
for pies. Shiny pans are recommended
for
cakes, cookies
and muffins.
