3. Turn the computer over and loosen the six captive screws on the base cover.
 
4. Lift the base cover off the computer.

CAUTION:
If the base cover is difficult to close, remove the cover and replace it. Forcing the cover to close may damage your computer.
 
2. Align the base cover tabs to the base.
 
3. Slide the base cover tabs under the base.
 
4. Tighten the six captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer.
