O.L.E.D. Remote Start Security System With
Plug-In Shock Sensor & Starter Disable
IMPORTANT ! In order to provide you with the highest level of security to your
vehicle, this system is equipped with selectable manual override circuitry. It is
possible that you will need to override you security system if the transmitter
becomes lost, or inoperative due to battery failure. Reading the sections on
"Manually Overriding Your System" is necessary to fully understand the procedure
required to enable your vehicle in such situations. In addition, the chart on the last
page of this manual has a section for the particular features and options installed
in your vehicle as well as the override method selected. Although the default
mode is "Valet Switch" operation, the system can be configured for "Custom
Code" operation for enhanced security. Confirm the override mode selected on
the last page of this manual, and familiarize yourself with the section on it's opera-
tion.

    known as a code grabber, which will receive and store the signal from your keychain transmitter and re-transmit at a later time to disarm your system. Your Spread Spectrum Code Hopping transmitters will change their signal and shift from frequency to frequency every time the button is pressed. This makes it nearly impossible for a thief to capture your code.
  • Page 4: Arming The System - Passive (Automatic)

    Siren will not sound. If the siren "chirped" three times, sometime after arming, the exclusive delayed dome light learn circuit has been programmed and the system detected a open entry point after the learned delay expired. Closing the hood, trunk, or doors will correct the problem and you do not need to disarm the system to make the correction.

    NOTE: If the optional interior illumination circuit was installed, the interior light will flash as well for the full 30 second alarm cycle. DISARMING THE SYSTEM NOTE: If the optional 2 step door unlock circuit is installed, when the unlock transmitter button is activated, the drivers door only will unlock, pressing the unlock button a second time will cause all doors to unlock.

    Before turning the key on, examine the LED and refer to the INTRUSION WARNING SIGNALS section of this manual to identify which zone was triggered. Doors Unlock - Optional 2 Step Doors Unlock - Optional NOTE: If the optional Headlamp illumination feature has been added and has been selected for operation when disarming, as an added convenience, the system will turn on the headlights when the system is disarmed.

    indicated on the last page of this manual, to bypass the alarm system; 1. Open the vehicle door. The alarm will sound. 2. Turn the ignition key to the on position. 3. Within 5 seconds, press and release the valet pushbutton switch. The alarm system will stop sounding and enter the (bypass) mode.

    7. Within 10 seconds, begin to press and release the pushbutton switch to set the units digit. (As per the example, press and release 2 times to set the units digit to 2). 8. Turn the ignition switch to the off position. Immediately observe the LED flash pattern.

    If the chirps were off before you started, then you will hear one chirp indicating they have been turned on. NOTE: Whenever the chirps are bypassed, the 4-chirp intrusion indicator and 3 chirp defective zone indicator will always operate. Since these are important warnings to you that something has happened, they cannot be eliminated.

  • Page 12 ADDITIONAL REMOTE FUNCTION (AUX 2 ) Controlled By: Moving side switch up 3 times and selecting AUX 2 by pressing the #2 Unlock Button. If this auxiliary output is connected to a device in your vehicle,,,the device will immediately activate. ADDITIONAL REMOTE FUNCTION (AUX 3 ) Controlled By: Moving side switch up 3 times and selecting AUX 3 by pressing the #3 Trunk/Key Button.

    DAILY START TIMER Press the option + lock buttons simultaneously for 1 second at the time you want the vehicle to start. The vehicle will chirp once indicating that the automatic start timer has been activated for the current time when the button combination was pressed. vehicle will then start automatically at the same time the following day, providing that the exit procedure is followed.

    TRANSCEIVER BUTTONS AND FUNCTIONS TRANSCEIVER ICONS AND THEIR INDICATIONS CHARGING THE BATTERY If on the OLED screen the LOW BATTERY icon comes up or is flashing, this indicates that the internal 3.7V Lithium Polymer battery requires recharging. To charge the battery, connect the changer to the Transceiver by lifting the rubber charge port located on the left side of the transceiver and plugging in the mini USB connector from the home battery charger.

If you have the USB to USB cable, found on some wall charge units, than you can also connected to a PC's USB 5 Volt port to charge your transceiver. Additionally if your unit is packaged with the 12 Volt DC adaptor, you can charge the unit is your vehicle by connecting to the accessory plug in the vehicle and connecting the USB mini USB to than to the Transceiver.

Your security system may have additional functions that were connected at time of installation, like right side slider door, left side slider door, Sun Roof Open or Close,,,etc... You can name the function of the output for easy recall. Move the side switch down 5 times to access the Aux page.

    PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTERS: At times it may become necessary to program replacement or additional transmitters for use with your system. To do this: 1) With the system unlocked or disarmed, turn the ignition key to the on position. 2) Press and release the pushbutton switch three times The unit will flash the parking lights and or beep the horn once to indicate that the system is in the transmitter program mode.

Here you can press and hold the start & option buttons simultaneously, for controlling the start function of the second vehicle etc..
  • Page 23: Battery Replacement

    BATTERY REPLACEMENT The transmitter incorporates a small LED visible through the case which is used to indicate battery condition. You will notice a decrease in transmitter range as the battery condition deteriorates. Transmitter battery replacement is recom- mended at least every 10 to 12 months, depending upon how frequently the transmitter is used.
