Using the Message Board

The Message Board function allows your navigation system to receive text messages from the
OnGuard Response Center
system will notify you of a pending message by displaying an icon on the screen and sounding a
tone. Use the following procedure to access received messages.

Press the MENU button to display the
main menu bar. Select Info. from the
main menu and press ENTER. The Info.
menu screen appears.
If an Alpine Mobile Mayday System is
connected and you have messages
waiting, the Message selection would be
available. Select Message Board and
press ENTER to view the list of
messages available. Scroll down the list
of messages to select the message to
be read.
