Setting the map color
The system allows you to set the display's map color. For most drivers, a dark tone screen is
preferred when driving at night. The system can be set to automatically switch to dark tone screen
when headlights are turned on.

Press the MENU button to display the
main menu bar. Select Setup and press
ENTER. The Setup menu screen
appears. Select Map Display and press
ENTER.

Highlight Map Color and press ENTER.

You have 3 choices of display modes:
A) DAY mode maintains a bright tone
screen even while your headlights are
on.
B) NIGHT mode maintains a dark tone
screen even when your headlights are
off.
C) AUTO mode switches automatically
between Day and Night screen color
when your parking lights are turned
on and off.
Highlight the mode of your choice (Auto
is shown here) and press ENTER.

Press the MP/RG button.
The system returns to the map screen.
