NOTE:
The thermal material must be thoroughly cleaned from the surfaces of the system board (1),
(2), and (3) and the heat sink components (4), (5), and (6) and must be replaced each time the heat
sink is removed. Replacement thermal material is included with all heat sink, system board, cable, and
processor spare part kits.

NOTE:
The Cable Kit includes replacement thermal material.
Description
Cable Kit
Before removing the RJ-45 (network) jack, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
