Troubleshooting Guide

Problem
Circuit breaker trips or fuse
blows when unit is turned on.
Unit turns on or o ff by itself.
Lights dim in room while the
unit is on.
Power cord gets warm.
Fireplace does not turn on.
Flame frozen or shutters.
Flame not bright or not visible.
Log set dim or not glowing.

Possible Cause
Improper circuit current

Corrective Action
Additional appliances may exceed the current rating of the
circuit breaker or fuse. Plug unit into another outlet or install
on a dedicated 15-amp circuit. If problem persists, contact
technical support.

interference.
2. Change frequency of other device if possible.
