    Connecting the server cables Cable connection guideline Be sure to read the documentation for all peripheral devices before connecting them. Do not connect or disconnect data cables during a thunderstorm. When removing a cable, always hold it by the plug. Connect and disconnect the cables in the order described below.

    Server maintenance Follow the steps to clean the server. Switch the server off, and pull the power plug out of the grounded-contact power socket. Make sure that the ventilation areas of the server and the monitor are free from any obstruction. Wipe the server and monitor casing with a dry cloth.

  • Page 54 Appendix A — System rack installation This support bracket must be mounted level with the lower edge of the device. The support bracket is used for the rear fixing of the left carrier rail. Review the installation instructions in the DataCenter Rack documentation.
  • Page 55 Standard rack For mounting the rack model in the standard rack, two fitting brackets must first be mounted at the carrier rails. Spring nuts must also be inserted in the support uprights. The spring nuts are used for fixing the carrier rails and securing the server at the front.
