6.2.
Automatic install
This procedure is designed for administrators who are not familiar with the Notes
Designer client. The goal is to modify the organization's mail template as little as
possible. The automated installation basically does the following:
• Copies the current mail template into the Fax sub-directory
(MailFaxTemplate.ntf). The copy becomes the new template and is used to
refresh the mail databases.
• Integrates the fax form design elements into the copy of the mail template.
• Configures the database.
This is depicted in the figure below.
To launch the automatic-install process, follow the steps below:

Start Lotus Notes by clicking Start > Programs > Lotus Applications > Lotus Notes.

Select the tab for an empty workspace and click File > Database > Open, or right-click
in the workspace and select Open Database.

In the Open Database dialog window, select the server where the Fax_Memo_install.nsf
and FAXconfiguration.nsf database files are located, in the Server field.

Double-click on the Fax folder and then double-click on Fax Memo Install.
