Click Open. The Installation Form tab is created in the Lotus Notes workspace as
shown below:

Fill in the fields as follows:
•
Installation Path: The location on the server where Lotus Notes is installed (should
be C:\Lotus\Domino\Data).
•
Mail Template Path: The path where the organization's mail template is located
(should be C:\Lotus\Domino\Data).
•
Mail Template Name: The name of the organization's current mail template file.
•
Server name: The name of the server where Lotus Notes is installed.

Click the Begin Installation button; a progress bar will appear. The installation database
(Fax_Memo_Install.nsf) contains all the design elements necessary for installing the fax
forms. The FAXconfiguration.nsf file is used to define the various languages.

Once the automated installation progress is completed, click on the Exit Installation
button that appears.

You are prompted to open the configuration database to set up your specific language
needs. Click Yes to proceed with the setup. To do this at a later time, click No and skip
to Step 11.

If you clicked Yes in Step 9, a Fax Configuration tab opens in the workspace. Follow
the steps in Sections 6.6 and 6.7, Configuring the Forms, of this chapter in order to
configure the language text in the form, add cover sheets, or change the fax domain.

Click File > Database > Open, or right-click in the workspace and select Open
Database.

In the Open Database dialog window, select the Lotus Notes server, in the Server field.

In the Filename field at the bottom, type the name of the organization's current mail
template file (mail6.ntf).
Note: NTF stands for Notes Template Facility. These files represent typical Lotus
Notes template, a skeleton that contains database design elements, but no documents.
Click Open; a new tab appears showing the organization's Inbox.

Click File > Database > Properties.
