4.3.7 – Explorer
If you access the Browser screen in 'Work folder' mode you can access one of its
subfolders after pressing this button.
If accessing in 'CD–Rom' mode you can also browse any folder on the drive with
this tool.
You can also view a miniature of the image selected if the 'Preview' option is checked.
Sometimes, due to the different types of images the machine may read, the process of
reading a miniature may be slow due to the actual characteristics of the image, and above all
when reading from a CD–ROM. Therefore, the loading of a miniature can be interrupted by
pressing the image or else the "Preview" option.
4.3.8 – Adjustments
You can modify the appearance of the pictures from the Browser screen using the
"Adjusts" option. This function allows you to modify the brightness of image, contrast,
saturation, CMY–RGB colour balance, sharpness, adjust the histogram manually or
automatically as well as apply 'Sepia' and 'Black and White' effects. You can also
automatically apply the changes made to an image to all those in the Browser or those which
are selected in it.
You can have greater control of the adjustment process thanks to the view of the original
image on the left and the modified one on the right.
Double–click the image on the left to retrieve the original image, although you will lose all
changes made until that moment.
There is also an Undo button. Click this button to undo the last action on the image on the
left: you can undo up to 20 actions.
The bottom of the adjustments screen has several tabs to access the aforementioned
functions. Click the tabs to display the parameters of these functions and the controls to
change them. When you change to another tab you validate the changes you have made (if
any).
From version 4.0, it is possible to enable "sequential adjust" from settings. With this
NEW!
option, you can adjust sequentially all previously selected images in browser.
The operation mode is the same, but two additional buttons (A & B) appear at the top of
the screen, that allows you to navigate between selected images.
