An external infra-red receiver via a 3.5mm stereo jack plug: Tip =
+, Sleeve = Ground, Ring not connected.
SCREEN
A 12V trigger connection for use with an electronic screen or
other device requiring a 12V trigger signal. The connection can
be programmed for on/off operation in the
via RS232. Use a 3.5mm 2-pin connector Tip = +12V, Sleeve =
Ground, 100ma maximum.
RS232 OPTION
Provides switching signals to control some Meridian/Faroudja
projector functions including power on/off and 50/60Hz frame
rate.
RS232 CONTROL
Allows the DVP1080MF to be controlled from an external device
such as an AMX or Crestron control system. See RS232 control
codes, available from Meridian on request.

Connecting power
Before connecting power, check the rating markings on the underside of the unit to ensure
that the product is the correct voltage for your mains supply.
• Connect the AC INPUT on the back panel to a suitable mains supply, using the power
cord supplied with the DVP1080MF.
To disconnect the DVP1080MF from the mains supply at any time remove the appliance
connector or the mains plug.
For this reason the appliance connector or the mains plug must remain accessible when the
apparatus is in use. The socket-outlet should be near the equipment and easily accessible.
