When you aren't using the telephone, there are several messages that can be active at
any time, such as date and time,
. When more than one of these messages is active, the display shows
the most recent message and an arrow beside it (e.g.,
the other messages by pressing U. Each time you press U, the display shows the next
active message and its associated light.
