When pictures are taken with /I_-5 held vertically, the vertical position
sensor activates and rotation information is added to the image to enable
playback with the correct image orientation. You can change the rotation
information and save the image using the following procedure.
When [231 SaVing Rotat on !nfo] in the [c cUstom Setting 4] menu (10192)is
set to [Off], the image rotation information is not saved when Shooting:
• When[Auto Image Rotatio n] (io.236) in the [r-€l Playback 1] menu is set t°

You cannot change the image rotation info[mation in the following conditions.
_ When the image is protected
-When the image rotat!on information tag is n0t saved With the image
when [Auto Image Rotation] (p.236)in the [r-€] Playback 1] menu is set to
[]
Select the image you want to rotate in Playback mode.
Press the four-way controller (•).
The playback mode palette appears.
Use the four-way controller (A • • • ) to select <3 (Image
Rotation) and press the OK button.
The selected image is rotated in 90 ° increments and the four thumbnail
images are displayed.
Use the four-way controller
(A • • • ) to select a desired
rotation direction and press the
OK button.
The image rotation information is saved.
