• Even if you used an extema! microphone to rec0rd movie sound in stereo,
monaura! sound !S played back when you output the movie via th e PC/AV:
terminal. When you output the movie via the min i HDM! termina!, sound is
played back in stereo.
You can capture a single frame from a movie and save it as a JPEG still
picture.

Press the four-way controller (•)
in Step 3 on p.177 to pause the
movie, and display the frame to
save as a still picture.
While paused, you can advance the
movie in one-frame increments using the
four-way controller ( 4 • ).
The frame number and total number of
frames appear at the top right of the
screen.

Press the
AE-L
button.
The save confirmation screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (• •)
to select [Save as] and press the
OK button.
The captured image is saved as a new
image.
