42 VCR Plus+®Timer Recording
A PlusCode_ number is a number of up to eight digits, printed in most TV
guides next to the start time of a TV program. You can program a timer
recording quickly by simply entering the code for your program.
Before you begin, complete the VCR Plus+_'channel setup. Detailsare on
page 37.
Press TIMER
on the remote
control.
Press &_'
to select VCR
Plus+ programming,
then press I_.

Press the Number buttons to enter the PlusCode number
from your TV guide, then press OK. If you make a mistake,
press CLEAR to erase the PlusCode number, then enter it again.
Information about the timer will appear. If information is missing or
not available,you may be asked to enter more information. Follow
the instructions given on the screen. You may be asked to enter a
channel number if you have not set up the VCR Plus+ channels as
described on page 37.

DVD+RW
or DVD+R
in the Recorder.
Press ON/OFF
0 to turn offthe
Recorder
at least five min-
utes before the timer
recording
is set to begin. The Recorder
must be off in order for the timer recording
to occur.
If you plan to play a DVD+R on another DVD Player, finalize the Disc.
Follow the steps on page 47, choosing "Finalize Disc" at step 4.
To edit your recordings, see page 48. However, editing changes may not be
accessible when you play the Disc on other DVD Players.
