On-screen Symbols
The following symbols will appear briefly on the TV screen when you activate some Disc features.
_Scan The first 10 seconds of each
Chapter/Track will play.

BAngle Multiple angles are available.
Details are on page 30.
_ Repeat All The entire Disc will play
repeatedly.
Details are on page 34.
_ Locked The current Disc is Locked and
cannot play.
Details are on pages 49-53.
_ Repeat Title The current Title will play
repeatedly.
Details are on page 34.
_Safe The current Disc is authorized for
playback.
Details are on pages 49-53.
_ Repeat Chapter The current Chapter
will play repeatedly.
Details are on page 34.
_ "X" The feature you just attempted is
not available on the current Disc or at the
current time.
_ Repeat A Point A for Repeat A-B play-
back has been entered.

_ Repeat A-B A segment of the Disc will
play repeatedly.

Status Box
The Status Box shows the current status of the Recorder and informationabout the current Disc,
including Disc type, total playing time, and elapsed playing time. Set Status box to On if you want to
see the following icons briefly when you accessa feature. Details are on page 54.
