Parental Level
DVDs may contain alternative scenesthat conform to the ParentalLevel, or
movie rating,that you select.The ParentalLevelmay apply to the complete
Disc or to certain sceneson the Disc. These scenesare rated from I to 8.
Follow the stepsbelow to set the ParentalLevelat which you want Discs to
play.
Press SYSTEM MENU. "r_, may be selected. If it is not, press •
to select it.
Press • repeatedly to select _ , then press •. Access con-
trol will be highlighted.
Press • again, then press the Number buttons to enter your four-digit code.

Press • to select Parental level, then press •.
Press AV or the Number buttons to select a rating, then
press OK.
Select "0" (- -) to deactivate Parental level. The entire Disc will
play.
Choose a rating between I-8, and scenes with the same rating or
lower will play. Higher rated scenes will not play unless an alterna-
tive scene is available on the Disc. The alternative must have the
same rating or a lower one. If no suitable alternative is found, play-
back will stop. Enter the 4-digit code to play the Disc.
