Cassette Holder
Press "EJECT" button to open the cassette holder in
the STOP mode. Be aware of the cassette direction
when inserting.
NOTE: Power source must be connected to open
the cassette holder.
"POWER ZOOM" Switch
This switch performs zooming action.
"W": Picture becomes wider gradually.
"T": Picture becomes telescopic gradually.

"LENS" Cap Tab
Store the lens cap on this
tab when you are ready to
record a scene. The tab
also prevents the lens cap
from swinging around on its
cord.

"RECORD START/STOP" Button
This button is used to control the video camcorder.
When this button is pressed with the video
camcorder set to the recording mode, the unit starts
recording. "REC" indication appears in the
viewfinder.
When this button is pressed again, "REC" indication
goes off and the tape stops and the video
camcorder enters the record/pause (stand-by)
mode.
LOCK SWITCH
When the camcorder in the pause mode, set the
lock switch to "ON" position. Press the zoom button
to operate the smart edit search.
Hand Grip
Adjust to best fit to your hand. The strap should be
adjusted while your hand is in a comfortable position
using the Zoom and Record Start/Stop buttons.
While supporting the unit with your other hand or
playing the video camcorder on a table, open the
strap by pulling the outer strap end. Press strap
firmly when correct pressure is applied to
adequately support unit.
