Care and cleaning of the range.
Pull the knob straight off the stem.
Control Panel and Knobs
It'sa goodidea to wipethe controlpanelafter each
useof the oven.Usea damp clothto cleanor rinse.
Forcleaning, u semildsoapand water or a SO/S0
solutionof vinegarand water.Forrinsing,useclean
water.Polish dry with a soft cloth.
Donot useabrasivecleansers, strong liquidcleaners,
plasticscouringpadsor ovencleanerson the control
panel-they will damagethe finish.
Thecontrol knobsmay be removedfor easier
cleaning.
Hakesurethe knobsare in the OFFpositionsand
pullthem straightoff the stemsfor cleaning.
Theknobscan be cleanedin a dishwasher o r they
may alsobe washedwith soapand water.Hake
surethe insideof the knobsare dry beforereplacing.
Replace the knobs,in the OFFpositionto ensure
properplacement.
Oven Racks
Clean the oven racks with an abrasive cleanser
or scouring pad. After cleaning, rinse the racks
with clean water and dry with a clean cloth.
NOTE:Take the racks out of the oven before
you begin the self-clean cycle or they may
discolor.
To make the racks slide more easily,apply a
small amount of vegetable oil or cooking oil to
a paper towel and wipe the edges of the oven
racks with the paper towel.

Wire cover holder
Oven Light Replacement (on some modelsl
Be sure to let the light cover and bulb cool
completely.
To remove the cover:
r_ Hold a hand under the cover so it doesn't
fall when released. With fingers of the
same hand, firmly push back the wire
cover holder. Lift off the cover.
Do not remove any screws to remove the
COVER
[-2-1 Replace bulb with a 40-watt appliance
bulb.
To replace the coven
r_ Placeit into groove of the light receptacle.
Pullwire forward to the center of the
cover until it snaps into place.
[] Connect electrical power to the range.
Storage Drawer Removal (on some models)
To remove the drawer'.
[Z] Pullthe drawer out all the way.
Tilt up the front and remove it.
To replace the drawer'.
[] Insert glides at the back of the drawer
beyond the stop on range slides.
r_ Lift the drawer if necessary to insert easily.
r_ Let the front of the drawer down, then
push in to close.
