Range Description
415.3–466.2Hz Adjusts the overall tuning of the MC-808.
* The setting expressed as the frequency played by the A4.
0–127 Adjusts the volume of the entire MC-808.
-12–+12dB Adjusts the output gain from the MC-808.
0–10 Adjusts the volume of the metronome.
-12–+12 Shifts the overall pitch of the MC-808 in semitone steps.
OFF, Specifies whether currently sounding notes will continue sounding when an-
ON other patch or rhythm set is selected (ON), or not (OFF).
OFF, Specifies the [OCT +/-] buttons will have effect when a rhythm set is assigned
ON to current part (ON), or not (OFF).
50–127 Specifies the range in which the resonance can be adjusted.
* As this setting is increased, the variable range of the resonance will in-
crease.
OFF, Specifies whether LFO1 Waveform will be modified smoothly by the fader
ON (ON) or not (OFF).

OFF, Specifies whether the samples of the user area and CompactFlash card will be
ON loaded when you turn on the power (ON), or will not be loaded (OFF).
0–1000 ms Specifies the duration of sound that is to be captured prior to the moment you
initiate sampling or the moment the sound arrives at the input.
* This lets you prevent the attack portion of the sound from being omitted
from the sample.
0–7 Volume level at which sampling will begin when "Auto Trig" is ON
* A setting of 0 is the minimum.
500, 1000, 1500, Length of silence at which the sample will be divided
2000 ms Whenever there is a silent region longer than the specified time, the sample
will be divided at that point, and the next sample number will be assigned
to the sound that follows.
* This parameter is valid only when you are using Auto Divide Sampling.
LINE-L-R, Input source of the external input sound
LINE-L, LINE-L-R: INPUT jacks L/R (stereo)
MIC LINE-L: INPUT jack L (mono)
MIC: INPUT jack (mono, mic level)
OFF, If this is turned on, the Start point and End point settings will be automatically
ON adjusted after sampling is performed, so any silent portions at the beginning
or end of the sampled sound are excluded.
