Saving a song

Songs that you record will be lost if you turn off the power. If you
want to keep the song data, you must save it as follows.
1.
Select the song that you want to save.
2.
Press [WRITE].
The song name entry screen will appear.

* You can't save a song on a card.

Assign a name to the song.
Button Description
Moves the cursor (the location at
[CURSOR ]
which to enter/edit a character).
Hold down [SHIFT] Switches letters between uppercase
and press [INC] or and lowercase.
[DEC]
Hold down [SHIFT] Inserts a space at the cursor location.
and press [UNDO/
ERASE]
VALUE dial, Selects characters.
[INC] [DEC]
[UNDO/ERASE] Deletes the character at the cursor lo-
cation, while shifting the following
characters to the left, closing the gap.
Range: space, A–Z, a–z, 0–9, ! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = >
? @ [ ¥ ] ^ _ ` { | } → ←
* To cancel, press [EXIT].
4.
When you have finished entering the name, press [ENTER].
You'll be asked to confirm your choice.
5.
To write the data, press [ENTER].
* To cancel, press [EXIT].
