If you could not remove the mis-

fed master in steps 2 and 3, take
out the drum and remove the
misfed master from the inside.
For how to take out the drum unit,
see page 89.
If the original misfeeds in the op-

tional document feeder, press the
ADF open lever and open the
ADF unit to remove the misfed
sheet.
Return the original table to its

original position.
If you follow step 4, set the drum
unit and close the front door.
If you follow step 5, close the
ADF unit.
