Validation Step 7—Virtualization Verification
This validation step compares the performance of virtual machines on a single
host with performance on multiple hosts. The test runs one iSCSI initiator in one
virtual machine, and one FCoE initiator in another virtual machine as shown in
Figure
5-30.

Validation Process
1.
Set up two virtual machines on one server, and install MLTT on each virtual
machine.
2.
Set up ETS.
3.
Configure the Analyzer to capture any frame.
4.
Use MLTT to set up remote control from one virtual machine, so that you can
control both virtual machines from one MLTT interface.
5.
Use MLTT to map iSCSI storage and Fibre Channel storage devices for
individual virtual machines.
