Before the start of TCP traffic, server ingress is equal to the FCoE traffic. When
the TCP traffic starts, server ingress is the sum of the FCoE and TCP traffic. The
switch starts sending PFC pause requests to the storage when the TCP traffic
starts to slow the FCoE traffic going to the server.
