MENU OPERATION
Press MENU repeatedly until the
SETUP MENU is shown.
Press the Left/Right arrow key to
adjust the selected option.
Press the Up/Down arrow key until
the desired option is selected.
P::ess QUIT or wait a few sec-
onds for the TV to return to
normal operation.
Auto Program Finds all active channels and stores them in the TV's memory for use by CHANNEL up/down. See
"THE FIRST TIME YOU OPERATE YOUR TV" fi}r more details.
(Channel) Edit the channels found by Auto Program to create your own persorLal list of channeh; using the
Add/Del/Surf Channel Add or Delete feature. You may want to add (or delete) a weak-signal channel to the channel
scan. Create your own "Surf" Channel Scan to scan your most tuned, favorite channels using Chan
Up/Down. See the information following this chart for more details
Clock Set Use to set the clock in the TV to the correct time, manually or autonaalically. See the information
following this chart for more details.
Captions Use to turn on-screen Caption/Text On or Off. Options are: On, Off ol Captions When Muted.
Caption/Text Select from the options available when Captions is turned on above. I3isplays closed captioning or
informational text when available on the selected channel. Options are: CAPTION 1, CAPTION 2,
CAPTION 3, CAPTION 4, TEXT 1, TEXT 2, TEXT 3, or TEXT 4. See the information following
this chart for more details.
Language Selects language for on-screen menus. Options are: English, Spanish or French.
Background Adds or removes a background from behind the on-screen menus.
StarSight Begins the StarSight Setup procedure. Refer to the StarSight section tbr details.
Projo Setup Lets you verify and adjust, if needed, the dynamic color convergence of the "IV picture. See the
