TIMER SETUP: Sleep Timer
The Sleep Timer programs the TV to automatically turn itself off after a period from 15 minutes up tc 4 hours.
From Setup Menu
1. Make sure the time on the TV's clock is set.
2.. Use the Up/Down arrow key to highlight Timer
Setup and view the Timer Menu.
3. Use the Up/Down arrow key to highlight Sleep
Timer.
4, Use the Left/Right arrow key to set the period of
time the TV will remain on.
Direct Access
1, With no menus showing on the TV, press TIMER
on your remote to directly access the Sleep Timer.
2. Press TIMER repeatedly to set the period of time
the TV will remain on.

OFF in 15; Minutes
One minute before the TV turns off, the GOOD NIGHT dis-
play appears on the screen. At this time you have a choice of
the following two actions:
A. Do nothing. The GOOD NIGHT display remains on
the screen. The TV will turn off in one minute.
t3. Delay the turn-off by resetting the timer with a new
time period.
Notes:
To cancel the Sleep Timer, turn off the TV or press TIMER re-
peatedly until OFF is showing.
As the Good blight display counts down the final 60 seconds,
file audio and video of the TV a]so" dim" for a soft, discreet

TIMER SETUP: On/Off Timer
The On/Off Timer programs the TV to automatically turn it-
self on at a specific time then turn itself off at another time.
Set On/Off Timer
1. Make sure the time on the TV's clock is set.
2,. Use the Up/Down arrow key to highlight Timer
Setup.
2,. Use the Lip/Down arrow key to highlight On Time
and use lhe numbered keys on your remote to
key-in a time for the TV to turn itself ON. Press
TIMER on the remote to select AM or PM. (You
can also use the Left/Right arrow key to advance
the time.)
4l. Use Up/Down key to highlight Off Time and use
the numbered buttons on your remote to enter a
time for the TV to turn itself OFF. Press TIMER on
the remote to select AM or PM. (You can also use
the Left/Right arrow key to advance the time.)
5. Use Up/Down key to highlight On/Off Timer and
use the Left/Right arrow key to turn timer ON (or
OFF).
Note: To use the On/Off Timer you must specify an Off
lime.
