You can use the Steady Shot to compensate for
camera-shake. Do not use the Steady Shot when
shooting a stationary Direct with a tripod.
(1) While p_ssing PUSH C)PEJ%open the LCD
panel.
(2) Set STEADY SHOT/J6:9 WIDE to STEADY
SHOT.

COMMANDER <ON/OFF>
• Set to ON when using the supplied Remote
Commander for the camcorder.
• Set to OFF when not using the Remote
Commander.
BEEP <ON/OFF>
• Set to ON so that beeps sound when you start/
stop recording, etc.
* Set to OFF when you do not want to hear the
beep sound.
D ZOOM <ON/OFF> -CCD-TRV21 only
• Select ON to activate digital zooming.
• Select OFF to not use the digital zoom.
The camcorder goes back to 12x zoom.
RECMODE <$P/LP>
• Select SP to record a tape in SP (standard play)
mode.
• Select LP to record a tape in LP (long play)
mode.
LCD BACK LIGHT <BRIGHT/NORMAL>
* Select BRIGHT to make the LCD screen
brighter when shooting/playing back
outdoors.
• Normally select NORMAL, The battery life
becomes about 10% longer than it is when you
select BRIGHT.
