(1) Remove the _ with a screwdriver (not
supplied). Then, while sliding the RELEASE
knob, turn the eyecup in the direction nf the
arrow and pull it out.
(2) Clean the surface with a commercially
available blower,

TO reattach the eyecup
(1) AJign the groove on the eyecup with the
• mark on the barrel.
(2) Turn the eyecup in the direction of the arrow.
Then, replace the screw.

Para volver a €olocar el ocular
(1) Alinee la ranura del ocular con la marca
• del tubo.
(2) Gire el ocular en el senfido de la flecha.
Despu_ vuelva a colocar el torrdllo.

Caution
Do not remove any other screws. You may
remove, only the _'_,vs to remove the eyecup.
Precauci6n
No quite ning_ otto tomil]o. Usted solamente
deber_l quitar el tornillo para desmontar el
ocular.
Camcorder operation
• Operate the camcorder using 6.0 V (battery
pack), or 7.5 V (AC power adaptor).
• Should any solid object or liquid fall into the
casing, unplug the camcorder and have it
checked by your nearest Sony dealer before
operating it any further.
• Avoid rough handling or mechanical shock. Be
particularly careful of the lens.
* Keep the POWER switch set to OFF when not
using the camcorder.
• Do not wrap up the camcorder and operate it
since heat may build up internally.
• Keep the camcdrder away from strong
magnetic fields or mechanical vibration.
• Do not push the LCD screen.
• If the camcorder is used in a cold place, a
residual image may appear on the LCD screen.

LCD screen may heat up, This is not a
malfunction.
On handling tapes
Do not insert anything in the small holes on the
rear of the cassette. "I'heN holes are used to sense
the 13,pe of tape, thickness of tape, and if the
recording tab is out or in.
Camcorder care
• When thecamcorder is not to be used fora long
time, disconnect the power source and remove
the cassette. Periodically turn on the power,
operate the camera and player sections and
play back a tape for about 3 minutes.
• Clean the lens with a soft brush to remove dust.
If there are fingerprints on the lens, remove
them with a soft cloth.
• Clean the camcorder body with a soft dry cloth,
or a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild
detergent solution. Do not use any .type of
solvent which may damage the finish.

• Alimente ]a videoc_tmara con 6,0 V (bateHa) o

• Si dentzo de la videooimara cae algtln objeto

haga que sea revisada por su proveedor Sony
m_ts cercano antes de reutilizarla.
• Evite tratos b ruscos o golpes. Tenga especial
cuidado con elobjetivo.
•Cuando no vaya a utilizar ]avideocamara,
ponga elselector P OWER en OFF.
• No utilice lavideocc-_imara envuelta, p orque se
recalentarfa.
•Mantenga lavideoolmara alejada d e campos
magn_ticosintensos y vibraciones m ec_nicas.
• No empuje lapantalla de cristal ffquido.
• Siutiliza lavideoc_imara e n un lugarfifo, e s
posible queen ]apantalla de cristal liquido
aparezca unas imagen residual.
Esto no
significa real funcionamiento.
• Cuando utHice la videoc_tmara, ]a parte
posterior de la pantal]a de crista] ]iquido puede
calentarse. Esto no significa real
funcionamiento.
Cuidado del videocassette
No inserte nada en los pequehos orificios de ]a
parte posterior de] vJdeocassette. Estos orificios
se utilizan para detectar el tipo de cinta, su
grosor, y si la ]eng_ieta de grabaci6n est_ o no
deslizada.
Cuidados de la videoclmara
• Cuando no vaya a utilizar ]a \'ideoc_mara
durante mucho tiempo, desconecte ]a fuente de
alimentaci6n y extraiga el vJdeocassette.
Conecte periodicamente la alimentaci6n, haga
funcionar las secciones de la videoc_tmara y el
reproductor, y reproduzca una cinta durante
unos 3 minutos.
• Limpie el po]vo de] objetivo con un cepillo
suave. Elimine las huellas dacti]ares con un
pafiosuave.
• Limpie elcuerpode lavideoc_mara con un
paso suave y seco, o ligeramente humedecido
en una solucidn muy difuida de detergente.
No emplee ning6n tipo de diso]vente ya que
podrta dahar el acabado.
