Deleting movies and
photos
You can free media space by deleting
movies and photos from recording media.
Select the recording medium that contains
the movies and photos you want to delete
betore starting the operation (p. 38).
Touch t1_ (HOME) --_ _t (OTHERS)
--_ [DELETE].
To delete movies, touch
[E:::1t D ELETE] --_ [g:::_DELETE].
• To delete photos, touch [[]DELETE]
[ [] DELETE].
Touch and display the 4 mark
on the movies or photos to be
deleted.
Formatting deletes all the movies and
photos to recow, r recordable free space.
• Connect },our camcorder to the wall outlet (wall
socket) using the AC Adaptor supplied fbr this
operation (p. 14).
• To avoid the loss of important images, you
should save them (p. 25, 31) be_bre fbrmatting
the recording media.
Touch tit (HOME) --_

FORMAT].
Touch the recording media to be
formatted ([HDD] or [MEMORY
STICK]).

Touch F6g]---_ [YES] ---_ _ ---_ EX].
• To delete all movies at one time
In step 2, touch [g::_ DELETE] --+ [g::_ DELETE
ALL] --* [YES] --* [YES] _ [_ _ IX].
• To delete all photos at one time
In step 2, touch [[]DELETE] --+ [[]DELETE
ALL] _ [YES] _ [YES] _ _ _ [X].
• While [Executing...] is displayed, do not close
the LCD screen, oprate the buttons on the
camcorder, disconnect the AC Adaptor, or eject
the "Memory Stick PRO Duo" media ficom },our
camcordec (The ACCESS/access lamp is lit or
flashing while fbrmatting the medimn.)
• Protected movies and photos will also be
deleted.
