IMPORTANT: T he REVERSE CAUTIONMODEwill

a. The keyis placedin eitherthe NORMALMOW-
ING positionor STOPposition.
b. Theoperatorengagesthe parkingbrakebyfully
depressingthe brakepedaland holdingit down
whilegently pushingtheparkingbrakebutton

Engaging

Brake
Toengagethe parkingbrake:
1. Fullydepressthe brakepedaland hold it downwith
yourfoot whilegently pushingtheparkingbrake
buttoninward.
2. Holdthe parkingbrakebuttonin while removingyour
foot from thebrakepedal

Todisengagethe parkingbrake:
1. Slightlydepressthe brakepedal
NOTE:The parkingbrakemustbe engagedif the operator
haves the seatwith the engine runningor the enginewill
automatballyshut off.

1. Sebct the heightpositionof the cuttingdeck by placing
the deck lift leverin anyof thesix differentcutting
heightnotcheson the right sideof the fender.
2. Adiustthe deck wheelsso that they are between
_4=inch a nd _/2=inch abovetheground whenthetractor
is on a smooth,flat surfacesuch as a driveway',
WARNING: Keep hands and feet
away from the discharge opening
of the cutting deck.
