The PTO(BladeEngage)leveris locatedon the left side
of the dashboardnext to the steeringwheel Movethe
PTO(Blade Engage)leverforwardto engagethe powerto
the cuttingdeck or other(separatelyavailable)attach-
ments;movethe PTO(Blade Engage)leverrearwardto
disengagethe powerto theattachments.
NOTE:The PTO(Blade Engage)levermust be in the
disengaged(OFF) positionwhenstartingthe engine,
whentravelingin reverseand if the operatorleavesthe
seat.
Seat Adjustment
Knobs
Toadjustthe seat position,loosenthe two seat adjust-
ment knobsand repositionthe seat to the desired
position.Oncea comfortablepositionis found,tightenthe
adjustmentknobsto lock the seat in place.Referto Seat

manualfor moredetailedinstructions.
Deck Lift Lever
Foundon yourtractor'srightfender,thedeck lift leveris
usedto changethe heightof the cuttingdeck.To use,
movethe leverto the left, thenplacein the notchbest
suitedfor yourapplication.
Parking
Brake
Button
Toset the parkingbrake,fully
depressthe brakepedal and push
the parkingbrakebuttonin. Hold
the buttonin whiletakingyour foot
off the brakepedal.Boththe park-
ing buttonand the brakepedal will
thenstay depressed. T o release
the parkingbrake,depressthe
brakepedalslightly.The parking
brakebuttonwill thenreturnto its
originalposition.
NOTE:The parkingbrakemustbe set if theoperator
leavesthe seatwith the engine runningor the enginewill
automatically shut off.
IMPORTANT: A lwaysset the parkingbrakewhen leaving
the tractorunattended.
