Blind Hem Stitching
Pattern
12 (Stretch Blind Stitch)
The Stretch Blind Stitch is used to finish the edge of projects made
with stretch fabrics without the stitch showing.
1. Set the pattern selection dial to 1 2.
2. Both the threads should be the same color as the fabric.
3. Fold back the fabric to the desired location of the hem as
shown in fig. A. Then, fold the edge of the fabric as in fig. B.
Leave a 6 mm (1/4") overlap at the edge.
4. Sew on the fold as in fig. C.
5. When the fabric is unfolded you will have a Stretch Blind
Stitch hem as shown in fig. D.

Le point (lastique invisible sert _ tenniner le bord d'ouvrages
r(alis(s sur des tissus (lastiques (extensibles) sans que les points
n'appa raissent.
1. Mettre le s(lecteur de mod61e de point sur 12.
2. Les deux ills utilis(s doivent 6tre de la m6me couleur que le
tissu _ coudre.
3. Plier le tissu _ la taille souhait_e pour I'ourlet, (comme le
montre la fig. A) puis replier le borden faisant chevaucher de
6 mm (voir fig. B.)
4. Coudre sur le repli (comme le montre la fig.(7.).
5. Lorsque le tissu est d_pli(, on obtient un ourlet extensible
invisible, tel qu'indiqu( dans la fig.D.

O Ponto invisfvel elfistico utiliza-se para fazer bainhas em trabalhos
efetuados com tecidos elastico, sem que o ponto fique h vista,
1. Ponga el selector de puntadas en 12.
2. Ambos hilos deben set del mismo color que el tejido.
3. Doble el tejido segfln la orilla que desee hacer ml como ilustra la
fig. A. Luego, d_4le la vuelm ml como indica la fig. B. Deje unos 6
mm (1/4")sin coser para esconderlos.
4. Cosa en el pliegue tal como muestm la fig. C.
5. A1 desdoblar el tejido, tendrt_ un dobladillo con puntada im, isible
eh_stica tal como lo muestm la fig. D.
1. Coloque o seletor de pontos em 12.
2. Ambas as linhas devem ser da mesma cor do tecido.
3. Dobre o tecido at_ ao local de bainha pretendido, como mostra a
fig. A. Em seguida, dobre a borda do tecido para trfis da forma
indicada na fig. B, deixando um trespasse de 6 mm na borda.
4. Costure nesta dobra, da forma indicada na fig. C.
5. Depois do tecido desdobrado, terfi uma bainha feita com ponto
invisfvel elfistico, como mostra a fig. D.
