16X9 Mode
The camcorder lets you make recordings compatible with the 16X9 format. When
16X9 is activated, the camcorder records black bars at the top and bottom of the
picture to produce the wide-screen effect. This is also known as "letterbox" recording.

1. Set the POWER
switch to CAMERA
MAN and the DCS/V1DEO
switch to
VIDEO.
2. Press the menu PUSH dial in to
display
the menu in the viewfinder
or
on the LCD monitor.
FOCUS is
highlighted.
4. Rotate the menu PUSH dial to
highlight
OFF or ON.

highlight 16X9 and press it in to
display the 16X9 menu.

Press the menu PUSH dial in twice to
turn 16X9 on or off and remove the
menus.
