LCD Monitor and Viewfinder
Displays
Several displays appear on the LCD monitor or in the viewfinder to aid in the
operation of the camcorder. You can press and hold the MENU/DISPLAY button for
more than one second to remove or display the battery level indicator, tape-length
indicator, and tape-remaining display.

Level Indicator

shows the amount of
power left in the rechargeable
battery.

flashes when the battery
is almost empty.
Cassette
Warning

there is no cassette
in the camcorder.

POWER
switch is set to CAMERA
and
the safety tab is set to REC OFF or
removed
from the cassette.
AUTO DATE, Date, Time, or Date and
Time
Display the DATE/TIME
D1SP. menu to
display AUTO DATE, Date, Time, or the
Date and Time
These displays axe recorded when
they are displayed. If you do not
want to record one of them, select
OFF in the menu.
